Last Pre-Baby Vacation Trip
Recently, Danae and I completed our last pre-baby vacation. We went to White Rock, Canada, where Danae and I stay at the in-laws beautiful condo over looking the water. The time was spent between family, friends, and good food.
After White Rock, Danae and I went to her first sales conference in a management type role. The event was in Idaho and judging from the many quality people I met in her new division, her company overall should be successful for a long time to come.
While at the conference, I could not help but think, Baby C has traveled more in the womb than I have in my entire life! This will be the best traveled infant (I hope this continues after the birth!). I applaud Danae’s courage / toughness to tackle both the new job and pregnancy with her whit and grace.
The golfing on the trip (once in Canada with Shinichi and once in Idaho) started me on a slight golf bug. Those were the first rounds of 2008 and when I returned home to San Francisco, I needed to play 2 more. In some ways, I know it would be best if the golf bug were to pass. There will be a lot for me to balance in the coming weeks, new dad, new job(s), and continuing to maintain running shape. Oh yeah, it would be great if I could complete my book too.
