First Family Road Trip
On Sunday May 3rd, Chris ran his second ever marathon (that’s 26.2 miles!) along the Avenue of The Giants (the redwoods of Humbolt County). Chris has been training heavily for months, running upwards of 50 miles weekly! Well…his hard work paid off. He has a new PR of 3:16:15! Sophie and I are SO proud of him!
We celebrated this momentous occasion by taking the week off for some well earned rest and relaxation (Sophie and I got exhausted watching Chris run!) Since we were already so far north in California, we made our destination Southern Oregon and spent three days in the charming city of Ashland.
