Too funny was this ending to a game of peek-a -boo.  I’m glad it was caught on film!

Why does my daughter smell like a man?
Sophie’s desire to explore under the bathroom sink has always been high.  Over the past month, her ability to effectively explore that area has dramatically improved.  Sophie can now open the cabinet doors (escaping our child proofing efforts), the drawers, and now most of the “product” containers.  She knows the difference between pop off tops, flip open caps, pull tops, screw...

More Paris Trip Pictures Posted!    First Clip is actually 40 seconds long and was taken from the last night in Paris.  The scene was quite surreal.. Fog, Lights from the Lourve, and a guy playing a Baritone Saxophone (I’m guessing here).

Wine touring
Danae and I have been really enjoying our time in France. The past few days we managed to make our way out of the city and into the countryside. We visited the champagne region (reims, epernay, and other towns), and yesterday we made our way into the Burgoyne region ( Chablis, vezelay). The food has actually gotten better for us and the availability of great tasting wine has made us very happy....

Our neighborhood (Paris)
So we are all settled in our Parisian apartment. Here are some initial thoughts: Close, really close, to many many sites on our must see list (3rd district) The neighborhood appears to be in flux. Many cool bars and shops on the main drags and sex shops (peep show/video stuff) hanging on in between newer shops on the off shoots. Our walk toward the apartment inspired the random reflection: ...

France landing
Danae and I had uneventful trip into Paris today. Our navigation of the trains, finding our apartment, and subsequent walking around also went well. The weather was amazing today, like swimming, but without water. The trees are all sprouting spring green leaves. We are very excited to run and tour parks tomorrow.

Sophie has always had a sense of rhythm, but recently she took her love of music to the next level:  Irish Whistle.   I was surprised two weeks ago when she discovered the flute in the drawer and knew that she needed to blow into it.   I think she picked up this trick at the new DayCare?
